Strawberry Coconut Smoothie

Strawberry smoothies are typically not my first pick, they might even be my last. However, after several requests for a strawberry smoothie for clients kids and so on, I finally made one. Much to my surprise, I loved it! With the combination of toasted coconut - I am all over it. It’s simple, filling, and refreshing.

Strawberry Coconut Smoothie

Serves 1 / Makes 16 ounces

Ingredients

½ frozen banana 

1 cup frozen strawberries 

½ cup toasted coconut flakes (unsweetened) 

1 cup coconut water or homemade almond milk 

1T hemp seeds 

1T flax seeds 

1 date 

Pinch of salt

Directions

Add all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Feel free to add more liquid if needed.
